Story: This is sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa movie with new star-cast. 18 years ago, in Bhawanigarh, Rajasthan, Thakur (Milind Gunaji) family is being harassed by the spirit of Manjulika. A tantric baba (Govind Namdeo) manages to trap Manjulika into a room in a haveli. He then seals the room.

In the present day, Reet (Kiara Advani), from the same family is away for studies. She’s returning back to Bhawanigarh to get married forcibly when she bumps into Ruhaan (Kartik Aaryan). Reet who hails from Rajasthan, is on her way back home for her own marriage fixed by the family. The bus in which Reet and Ruhan are travelling meets with an accident and Reet is assumed to be dead.

Since Reet is aware that her cousin, Trisha (Mehek Manwani), loves the boy with whom her marriage has been finalized, she decides to stay dead and somehow ensure that her fiancé, Sagar (Sparsh Walia) gets married to Trisha. Ruhan helps Reet in her mission as he has fallen in love with her. In fulfilling ghost Reet’s mission, the family is forced to live in the old haveli in which Reet had spent her childhood even though locked in one room of the haveli is the ghost of Manjulika (Tabu), the evil sister of Anjulika, sister-in-law of Reet.

Is the spirit of Manjulika for real? What does the spirit want? Are Reet and Ruhan able to accomplish their mission? Does the family get to know that Reet is alive? What happens to the love story of Ruhan and Reet?

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch in cinemas because looks amazing as it has good amount of horror & comedy.

Set 15 years later. The Thakur manor is left by the Chaturvedis. Ruhan, a psychic who is brought in to deal with the apparent return of Manjulika in the Thakur palace, but he unintentionally aggravates problems.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 story is excellent and unconventional. It neatly incorporates the horror and comic quotient very well. There are so many twists and turns in the drama that the audience does not get a moment to think. The first half is full of light moments, and the viewers often break into laughter, even loud guffaws. Direction is excellent and He has the viewers attention right from the first frame and even in portions when the drama dips, he does not let his grip on their minds loosen for too long. He has made a wholesome entertainer for males and females of all classes and age groups.

It begins on a rocking note. The entry of Ruhaan and Reet is entertaining. The manner in which Reet decides to fake her death is a bit unconvincing but works well. Ruhaan’s first meeting with Reet’s family is quite memorable. How Ruhaan turns into Rooh Baba is hilarious. The flashback story of Manjulika is shown in the first half which is surprising. Usually, such a track is given prominence in the second half. The suspense at the interval point and flashback is terrific. Post interval, the film slows down and picks up when the Pandit gets slapped by Manjulika. The finale has another unpredictable twist. Overall movie is a complete entertainer and works due to the splendid combo of horror and comedy. My view on this movie Recommended
