Bhaukaal 2 Web Series Rating: 3.5 Stars

Just watched Bhaukaal 2 web series on MX Player. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Cast: Mohit Raina, Bidita Bag, Siddhanth Kapoor, Pradeep Nagar, Gulki Joshi, Ajay Singh Chaudhary and Rashmi Rajput
Director: Jatin Wagle
Release Date: 20th January 2022 (MX Player)
Duration: 10 Episodes/ 40 Minutes

Story: It is inspired by real-life incidents and the journey of IPS Officer Navniet Sekera who rose to prominence as a super cop after eradicating many gang lords from Uttar Pradesh. When it comes to criminals and cops attempting to maintain control, the story will undoubtedly be filled with carnage, gang wars, kidnappings, marauding and guns.

This second season picks up right from where the first one had left off, with one gang leader, Shaukeen, being eliminated from Hussainpur by IPS Officer Naveen Sikhera (Mohit Raina) and he now has his sights set on Dedha brother’s gang. Shaukeen girlfriend Nazneen (Bidita Bag) and MP Aslam Rana (Late Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal) team up with the Dedha brothers—Pintu (Pradeep Nagar) and Chintu (Siddhanth Kapoor).

Slowly but steadily people’s perception of cops as heroes comes across the Muzzafarnagar city but Dedha Brothers are now ruling the roost, and they want to continue the terror on their turf. MP nephew Asfaq (Ajay Singh Chaudhary) also wanted to establish the gang again in the absence of Shaukeen.

Now Naveen and his core encounter specialist team Bhaati (Digambar Prasad), Balram (Firoz Khan), Vinod (Amitt Singh), Maruti (Ravishankar Pandey) and Pawan (Rohan Verma) mission is to make crime free city. What challenges and obstacles they have faced in their mission and how they accomplished it is all about this series.

Positives
1. Excellent Performances
2. Story
3. Screenplay
4. Direction
5. Dialogues

Negatives
1. Length
2. Dragged and stretched in 1st half
3. Predictable
4. Abusive language

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch in free time because already watched the first season and loved it. I am also very fascinated about stories based on true incidents.

After busting Shaukeen’s gang in season 1, new season follows Naveen Sikhera’s journey as an efficient cop, determined to bring change and peace to this chaotic hinterland town. Witness Naveen and his men face the unrestrained wrath of Dedha brothers, who are hungry for power in Muzaffarnagar. The story is based on the true events of an Indian hero IPS officer Navniet Sekera who pledged to restore law and order to India’s crime capital.

Bhaukaal Season 2 continues to add layers to the subject of how mafias function, how politicians exploit them for their own gain, how the police operate and how their hands are often tied to follow protocols. If you have seen season one and enjoyed its dark narrative, then the new season certainly ups the ante. However, the overall execution of an intriguing premise is a slow burn. The cat-and-mouse chases get old after a while, and the action doesn’t begin until the sixth episode. My View on this web-series Highly Recommended even if you have not watched the first season.
