B-Love Network T20I Series 2023: Afghanistan registered their first ever series win against Pakistan in international cricket. They won the 2nd T20I by 7 wickets and clinch the series 2-0 with a game to spare at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

Details: Pakistan captain Shadab Khan again won the toss and elected to bat first in the 2nd T20I game against Afghanistan at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. One change for both Pakistan and Afghanistan Team for today’s game.

Pakistan scored 130/6 runs in their 20 overs after batting first. Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan have got Pakistan up to 130, with 45 runs coming off the final five overs. They were in trouble at 63/5 after 11 overs, but these two have given them a total to fight with. It was another struggle for Pakistan’s new-look batting lineup on a sluggish pitch, which Shadab thought was a typical Sharjah pitch at the toss and he expected it to be totally different from the first game. Farooqi got them two down in the first over itself with some lovely inswingers. Rashid came on and he was brilliant as well. Pakistan seemed to be falling apart when Imad and Shadab got together. But the duo led a good recovery. Imad Wasim scored 64* runs of 57 balls and skipper Shadab Khan scored 32 runs of 25 balls. For Afghanistan, Fazalhaq Farooqi picks 2 wickets for 15 runs in his 4 overs.

Afghanistan chase down the target and by scoring 133/4 runs in 19.5 overs and won the game by 7 wickets. Zaman is crestfallen after bowling a brilliant over. He rolls onto the turf in despair. And on the other hand there’s Najibullah who looks to the heavens and roars in delight. Two days ago Afghanistan beat Pakistan for the first time ever in any format, and now they’ve taken the series with a game to spare. It didn’t come easy though. The chase was a struggle on another sluggish pitch in Sharjah. There was a partnership of 56 for the second wicket between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran but it came off 69 balls, and the required rate climbed right up. To make things worse, both of them departed when things got tight. But Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran, who’ve done it so many times over the years, did it once again. The game turned decisively in Afghanistan’s favour as Naseem went for 17 in the penultimate over, leaving just 5 to get in the final one. And as well as Zaman bowled, he couldn’t deny Afghanistan their piece of history. Mohammad Nabi scored 38* of 38 balls and Najibullah Zadran scored 17* runs of 23 balls. For Pakistan, debutant Ihsanullah picks 2 wickets for 17 runs in 3.5 overs.
