Release Date: 10th December 2021 (Disney Plus Hotstar)
Duration: 8 Episodes/ 40 Minutes

Story: Quick recap of the first season, Aarya Sareen (Sushmita Sen) after losing her husband Tej (Chandrachur Singh) somehow manages to resolve the biggest threat to her family and deal with Shekhawat bravely. She was heartbroken upon realizing how her father conspired her husband’s murder but was relieved to have managed to get out of the drugs business after killing Shekhawat (Manish Choudhary). Aarya gave ACP Yonus Khan (Vikas Kumar) the pendrive that promises to blow the lid off a black money trail and drug deals with the Russian Mafia, and in exchange, he saved her from the Russian gang and helped her to settle down in Australia with her children.

The second season begins exactly from the same point where we had left the story. While Aarya is settled in Austria now, her father Zorawar (Jayant Kripalani), brother Sangram (Ankur Bhatia) and Shekhawat father Udayveer Shekhawat (Akash Khurana) continue to fight for their bail in the Court in the drugs case. Unfortunately she return to Rajasthan to testify against all three of them as ACP forced to cancelled their passport and safety program.

But little did she know that new threats are waiting for her in India. Not just the Russians, who are after her life for their Rs 300 crore consignment, Shekhawat’s father is also waiting to avenge his son’s life. Soon after Aarya settles in the security safe house, she is attacked and that once again begins her run for life. But this time she has no one to trust. However, being the fierce tigress that she is, Aarya certainly knows that she had to pave a path for herself to ensure her kids are safe. On the other hand, her family issues continue to get grave adding on to the suspense element as who to trust and who not to trust.

Aarya has a clear motive of ending this chaos and getting out of the nasty business as soon as possible. However, each episode comes with a new twist in the story which not just adds on to Aarya’s trouble but will also leave you at the edge of your seat. Will Aarya manage to save her kids? Will she be able to escape Russians and Shekhawat?

Positives
1. Excellent Performances
2. Screenplay
3. Story
4. Direction

Negatives
1. Climax
2. Length
3. Stretched 2nd half

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch in my free time because I have already watched the first season of this series and it was very good.

After having handed over her husband’s killers to the cops and singlehandedly crumbling a thriving drug syndicate, Aarya is coerced into abandoning her witness protection program and returning to India with her kids, which rekindles old ties with the family she wants nothing to do with anymore and ignites enmity with others who’re gunning for her head due to the personal and financial losses she cost them.

Aarya is an official adaptation of the Dutch series Penoza which depicts the story of a woman who goes from being a housewife and mother to becoming a don. In contrast to the prequel, the other women in the story play an essential role in shifting the equations and adding twists to the narrative. By the end of the eighth episode, you’ll be eager to find out what else Aarya has in store for her, only to later discover that you’ll have to wait until the next season. My View on this web-series Recommended.
