Team India scored 168/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. The Indian openers set the tone early, racing to 72 in the powerplay. But once Shubman Gill fell, the innings began to lose shape. The experiment of promoting Shivam Dube didnโt click, with Rishad Hossain striking in the 9th over. Soon after, Rishad produced a brilliant piece of fielding at backward point to run out Abhishek Sharma and that was arguably the turning point of the innings. Up until then, a 200-plus total looked inevitable, but that dismissal drained the momentum from Indiaโs batting. Despite a late cameo from Hardik Pandya, the middle-overs slowdown cost them big time. For Bangladesh, Rishad was the standout performer with two wickets, a crucial run-out, and plenty of pressure. The rest of the attack supported him well, chipping in with tidy spells to cap off a disciplined effort. With Axar Patel struggling to find rhythm in the death overs, India couldnโt maximize their finish. For Bangladesh, Shivam Dube picked 2 wickets for 33 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Bangladesh unable to chase the target and bowled out for 127 runs in 19.3 overs and lost the game by 41 runs. India have stormed into the final as the very first team to seal their spot, while Sri Lanka bow out of the tournament. That now leaves Pakistan and Bangladesh facing off in a straight knockout clash. It couldโve been over much earlier if not for those dropped catches of Saif Hassan, which gave Bangladesh faint hope. However, India always had their nose in front. Abhishek Sharma lit up the evening once again with another rollicking knock to give India a flying start. His unfortunate run-out, though, shifted the momentum, and the innings lost steam from there on. What looked like a potential 200 ended up at 168 for India. In the chase, Saif Hassan fought valiantly but never got enough support from the other batters. After surviving four dropped chances, he finally ran out of luck when Bumrah sent him packing. From there, India tightened the screws and closed out a convincing 41-run win. The wrist-spinners were outstanding, sharing five wickets between them and squeezing the life out of the Bangladesh batting order. Saif Hassan scored 69 of 51 balls and Parvez Hossain Emon scored 21 runs of 19 balls. For Team India, Kuldeep Yadav picked 3 wickets for 18 runs in his 4 overs quota.
