In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of movies and web series releasing in July 2025 on OTT platforms and cinemas. While the last month saw a low number of releases, this month we have finally high number of releases on OTT and cinemas. Please note that release dates may vary as this information is based on announcements made by producers and production companies.
Interestingly, several movies are opting for digital premieres instead of theatrical releases to avoid clashes. For audiences, OTT platforms have become the new cinema halls post-lockdown, offering a variety of movies and web series to enjoy from the comfort of their homes. June 2025 brings a fresh slate of highly anticipated movies and web series across digital platforms and cinemas.
With so much to look forward to, new month is shaping up to be a thrilling start to the year for movie and web series enthusiasts. Dive into our confirmed list and make sure you don’t miss the most awaited releases of the month.

1. Heads of State (Movie)
Release Date: 2nd July 2025 on Prime Video

3. Metro In Dino (Movie)

Details: The film consists of multiple heartfelt stories of contemporary couples. All four stories are set to connect with each other at some point in the film. The four stories are set in four metro cities in India- Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore.
4. Akshardham: Operation Vajra Shakti (Movie)

5. The Hunt – The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case (Web-Series)

7. Aap Jaisa Koi (Movie)

8. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan (Movie)

Details: Adapted from Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It and explores the burgeoning connection between a visually impaired musician and a theater artist during a train journey, adapting Ruskin Bond’s short story to examine themes of perception and human connection against modern relationships.
