South Africa bowled out for just 99 runs in 27.1 after batting first. This is South Africa’s lowest ODI score against India. Bowled out for just 99 in less than 28 overs, losing 8 wickets to spin as the trio of Washington, Shahbaz and Kuldeep made merry on a surface that did offer some help but was by no means unplayable. Klaasen was the only one who looked good out there, but even he couldn’t survive for too long. India have managed to bundle the visitors out for a double-digit score. That is domination personified. It wasn’t as if SA were fielding a weak side, but they just couldn’t counter India’s plans. Siraj bounced a few batters, and the rest was taken care of by the spinners. Heinrich Klaasen scored 34 runs of 42 balls and Janneman Malan scored 15 runs of 27 balls. For Team India, Kuldeep Yadav picks 4 wickets for 18 runs in his 4.1 overs quota.

Team India chased down the target successful by scoring 105/3 in 19.1 overs and won the game and series. India have been the better side and they have won convincingly. SA were outplayed comfortably today. It seemed a damp wicket and SA were put into bat. Siraj struck early and then the spinners continued to do the damage. Klaasen did well to hold one end up but he fell as well. SA in the end were bundled out for 99. The series started off on a close note before India wideneded the gap on SA. Iyer and Kishan were dominating in the second ODI and SA were rendered hapless in this one. They needed vital points and fielded a good squad for this series but unfortunately haven’t been able to come up with the goods. Shubman Gill scored 49 of 57 balls and Shreyas Iyer scored 28* runs of 23 balls. For South Africa, Bjorn Fortuin & Ngidi picks 1 wicket each.
