Story: Movie revolves around twin village of Asola-Fatehpur Beri in Haryana where Babli Tanwar (Tamannah Bhatia) lives with her parents pehelwan-father Gajanan (Saurabh Shukla) and mother Ganga (Supriya Shukla) and a little brother Golu (Khabir Mehta).
Babli failed in her tenth exam despite trying multiple times. She is quite strong physically and has imbibed the bodybuilding qualities from her father. Kukku (Sahil Vaid) is her childhood friend from her village is in love with her and wants to marry her but doesn’t love him and treat him as her friend. At a wedding in the village she meets Viraj (Abhishek Bajaj) who is the son of her school teacher (Yamini Das).
Both spend some time and Viraj asks her to meet him in Delhi, where he works. Babli decides to move to Delhi and take up a job so that she can frequently meet Viraj. Babli’s parents are looking for a match for her and when Kukku learns about it, he meet Babli’s parents for the marriage and they are more than happy since they know Kukku very well. She sees an opportunity in this situation and falsely tells Kukku that she’ll marry him, provided she’s allowed to work for a year.
As luck would have it, Kukku works in Delhi’s Tally Gully Club and the management there is looking for female bouncers to deal with unruly women customers like Dolly Chadha (Upasna Singh). She gets the job there and meet Viraj and confront her love after few meetings but he rejects it. Kukku is crestfallen when Babli tells him that she doesn’t love him and therefore can’t marry him. What happens thereafter is all about this film.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on premiere day because loved the trailer for its performances, unique story and backed by national award winning director.
The story of a small-town girl named Babli Tanwar who hails from Asola Fatepur and moves to Delhi in the pursuit of a finding a job makes it big as a bouncer. It explores the various facets of the profession, which is usually dominated by men.
Movie story offers nothing by way of novelty except that a female protagonist is shown as a bouncer a predominantly male profession. The love story goes through the predictable routine of love, rejection, heartbreak, etc. Screenplay is just okay as nothing comes as a surprise or shock. Direction is routine. The narration of the ordinary and predictable story is so flat that the drama has no high points neither in content nor in presentation. The subject of the film is one of its pluses. The life of a bouncer, leave alone a female bouncer, has never really been explored in a movie in India. The barely-visible women bouncers lead a tough life, which has been depicted in a lighter vein. The writing, however, falters here. Babli faces hurdles all throughout her journey of self-discovery but she gets past them without much ado. She’s depicted as a feisty, go-getter, who doesn’t care for what the world says. And yet, the moment her heartbreaker holds the mirror to her, she begins to change the course of her life, and corrects everything he points out is wrong with her.
That and a few other nuances dilute the narrative and limit the scope the story actually had. The dialogues are decent, although there was plenty of room for them to be great. Throughout the film, Babli keeps saying she’s very funny but the comic punches don’t work in every situation. After delivering some crackling films in the past, Madhur Bhandarkar stands quite far from his own benchmarks, though he hasn’t lost form. Overall, its a light hearted comedy drama and can be watched with family for its social message. My view on this movie Time Pass.
