Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch in free time because loved it trailer and family series always looks relatable.

Series revolves around Shekhar who returns to his hometown of Indore after he is fired from his high-paying job in Bengaluru. However, he decides to keep it a secret from his family. His life changes forever as he finds a road to self-discovery. But will he be able to hide his joblessness in front of his family? Or will he get caught and create chaos in the entire familiar setting? Will this move to his hometown lead to some interesting self-discovery?

The writers have taken a realistic approach in order to showcase the feelings of a person who has no courage to tell his middle-class family about his unemployment status. It explores the connection between siblings and how their relationship becomes long-distance as they grow apart after living far apart for a longer period of time and not keeping up with each other due to the busy corporate life, where getting sick leave gives a guilt trip. You forget to call your parents or siblings or even wish your best friend on his birthday, with whom you’ve cut multiple cakes since childhood. All these scenes get you if you are in the same situation.

Ghar Waapsi story is simple and familiar story about millennials who are caught up in the corporate rat race while their families and friends go unnoticed. The series has plenty of heart and soul, especially in the scenes where Shekhar tries to reconnect with his family and is curious about what’s going on in their lives—father’s business, mother’s health, and sibling’s personal lives. The show’s climax is the one element that doesn’t quite hold up because it’s written to justify the title but in real life, it’s not always an easy decision to make. Each episode is nearly an hour long; some tight editing would have made a significant difference. The simple dialogues, Indori dialect, background score, production design, visual tone and cinematography, on the other hand, lend themselves well to the narrative.

The show talks about all the issues and feelings that a person goes through while living out of their house and has nailed it with their approach towards each and every scene and the characters of the show. It is essentially another heartland story about a slice of life that depicts familial love and bonding to which everyone can easily relate. Overall, series is a feel-good drama that works primarily due to the superb writing and casting. The length and repetitive emotions are on the downside. My View on this web-series Highly Recommended and watch this with you family.
