Story: The film opens in the 1940s where an aristocrat (Jagapathi Babu) fall in love with a palace built by king Veera Sethupathi (Vijay Sethupathi). He constructed the palace as an expression of his love for his wife Annabelle (Taapsee Pannu).

After few years a family of three comes to visit a palace and a have a stay there. Though they have heard that there are ghosts in that palace they choose to live without fear and then become the victims of those ghosts. After several decades in present Rudra (Taapsee Pannu) her mother (Radhika Sarathkumar), father (Rajendra Prasad), and brother are cleverest of clever con-artists who can steal anything and escape unscathed. But all we see is them wearing burqas, snatching a necklace off a sleeping woman on a crowded train and walking away.

Co-incidentally Rudra and his family is assigned the job of cleaning that same palace which was build by Sethupathi. The beautiful palace wears a desolate look as anybody who stays in the castle during a full-moon night dies mysteriously and becomes a ghost. The catch is the ghosts are trapped in the palace and hence they can’t attain salvation. Shanmugam (Yogi Babu) was a palace cook who died over 70 years ago and is the quasi-leader of the aristocratic ghosts. He believes that a person who survives a full-moon night in the palace will help them go to the light.

This leads to several shocking revelations and hilarious incidents, which eventually unravel Rudra’s past connection with the palace and king Veera. You need to know watch this film to know what was past connection and who send them to palace.

Positives
1. Story
2. Cinematography
3. First half
4. Some Funny Moments

Negatives
1. Screenplay
2. Climax
3. Music
4. Direction

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie in free time as trailer of this film looks good and after a long time Taapsee Pannu is returning to Tollywood.

A young con-wan woman named Rudhra and her family enter a palace that was built by a king named Veera Sethupathi. Inside the palace, they encounter a bunch of ghosts who think she is their only means to salvation. This leads to several shocking revelations and hilarious incidents, which eventually unravel Rudra’s past connection with the palace and king Veera.

Annabelle Rathore had all possibilities to emerge as a thoroughly enjoyable fantasy comedy. But sadly, the idea that looks extremely promising on papers has been made into a half-baked movie experience that works in parts. While both the fantasy and comedy elements end up mediocre, it is the romance that makes the film tolerable. Lazy writing and execution are the biggest issues of this film. And our films definitely need to stop cashing on body shaming comedies, which is anything but funny. Even the scenes that had the most potential are staged without conviction, and the dialogues that were supposed to evoke laughter, just fall flat.

It is a partially enjoyable fantasy comedy that works at parts if you are willing to turn your brain off. But this will disappoint the audiences, who are expecting a well-made comedy entertainer. My view on this movie Time Pass if you want to enjoy a film with family without using your brain.
