Fast And Furious 9 Review: Toretto brothers face-off story is mediocre but still good enough for franchise lovers

Finally watched Fast and Furious 9 movie in Cinemas. So let’s focus on the cast, release date story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.

Story: F9: The Fast Saga is ninth film of Fast & Furious franchise. The film opens with a flashback. Dom and the previously never mentioned brother Jakob are seeing off their father Jack Toretto (J.D. Pardo) in a race. A rival’s car hits Jack’s car which explodes after striking a wall. Post the incident, Dom is imprisoned after nearly beating the said rival to death.
Cut to the present two years after the events of ‘F8: Fate of the Furious’ Dom(Vin Diesel) is now leading a retired life in the countryside raising his son Brian with his wife Letty Oritz (Michelle Rodriguez).
Their old associates Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges) and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) arrive with the news that the plane of Mr Nobody (Kurt Russell) who is an intelligence operative has crashed in Montequinto, Central America. He was being attacked by rogue agents when he was capturing Cipher (Charlize Theron) who is a criminal mastermind.
Dom agrees to help them investigate with team after realizing his brother Jakob (John Cena) is involved. Searching through the debris of the crashed plane they find a part of a device named Aries which can hack into any computer-controlled system that includes all satellites and weapons of the world.
Aries half part is with Jacob now and also he able to get the another part of device and planning to control the world through the device after putting their satellite in the orbit. How Dom and team will stop Jacob and team is all about this story. Also Han Lue (Sung Kang) return to the gang and how he was survived and how team find him for that you need to watch this movie.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch in my free time as film is based on real story and it was my first movie in cinemas after 2nd wave of Covid-19.
Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered with a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother Jakob
The ninth edition of this action-packed franchise opens with a promise but ends on a ridiculously convoluted and low note. The film is a bloated thriller with a weak and worn-out storyline that only die-hard Fast & Furious fans would be able to follow. There is a semblance of a story only if you have the patience of sitting through loads of jaw-dropping, gravity and logic-defying stunts, which include a satellite and spaceship sequence. My view on this movie Recommended for all franchise lovers !!
