Broken But Beautiful 3 Review: Sidharth Shukla shines in this modern complicated love story
Broken But Beautiful 3 Web Series Rating: 2 Stars

Just watched Broken But Beautiful 3 web series on ALT Balaji. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Cast: Sidharth Shukla, Sonia Rathee, Ehan Bhat, Manvir Singh, Taniya Kalrra, Jahnavi Dhanrajgir and Saloni Khanna
Director: Priyanka Ghose
Release Date: 29th May 2021 (On ALT Balaji)
Duration: 10 Episodes/ 25 Minutes

Story: It is 3rd season of this series with new star-cast and story. Agastya Rao (Sidharth Shukla) is a struggling theatre director, who is brash, temperamental and often self-destructive. He has friends Farah (Taniya Kalra) and Rishabh (Manvir Singh) who is running his theatres and handling his tantrums.

On the other hand Rumi Desai (Sonia Rathee) is a rich young woman, who is forever resentful, unfulfilled and obsessing over her childhood crush Ishaan (Ehan Bhat) and jealous of her step sister Maira (Saloni Khanna) because her parents care for her. Both are flawed in their own ways. Their first gathering didn’t end up being that memorable however when Agastya, at last, sees a convincing actor in Rumi for her play, now over the span of that show, love begins to bloom between them.

They start off on the wrong foot, but that doesn’t stop them from hooking up with each other almost immediately. Soon, the simmering sexual tension between them gives way to complex emotions, insecurities and unimaginable heartache. But, it is uncovered that Rumi’s actual fixation was Ishant, not Agastya. So how things will turn up for Rumi and Agastya? Rumi will understand that angry cold-hearted Agastya has really succumbed to her?

Positives
1. Excellent performances
2. Cinematography
3. Climax
4. Music

Negatives
1. Length
2. Predictable
3. Direction
4. Story lacks Novelty
5. Excessive abusive words
6. Screenplay

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch this series because of Sidharth Shukla and story looks refresh.

When Agastya and Rumi’s paths cross, sparks fly instantly. But as both of them chase their individual obsessions, they realise what they want is not what they really need. The third season of this Web series takes all of this self-sabotaging love and pushes it a notch higher. It is a typical ALT Balaji show which delves into new age relationships and not the age-old concepts of romance and relationships.

One of the major reasons why Season 3 has been drawing so much attention is Sidharth Shukla. And let me tell you, he outshines himself. It would be safe to say despite having tremendous supporting actors, he dominated each and every frame. Be it his ‘hopeless romantic’, wrecked or devastated side, you just cannot complain. It would be wrong if I don’t deny that the script and the dialogues lacked. But honestly, Sidharth and Sonia’s impressive performances forced me to binge the episodes right one after another. The initial episodes could have really been worked upon but as the pace picks up, it’s worth watching the tale. My view on this web-series Time Pass !!
