Just watched Qubool Hai 2.0 web series on Zee5 Premium. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Cast: Karan Singh Grover, Surbhi Jyoti, Shalini Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Ankit Raj, Nehalaxmi Iyer, Mandira Bedi, and Arif Zakaria
Director: Glen Barretto and Ankush Mohla
Release Date: 12th March 2021 (On Zee5 Premium)
Duration: 10 Episodes/ 25 Minutes

Story: The show starts with the enchanting title sequence of Qubool Hai 2.0. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful city of Belgrade in Serbia, the show starts by giving us a nostalgic reminder of the characters and their behavior. As Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi Jyoti) gets ready for her Nikah with bodybuilder Salman Ansari (Ankit Raj) she feels she can’t go through it. In fact, she wants to go meet her father who has reached out to her after so many years.

On the other hand Asad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh Grover) is India’s most celebrated and successful sharpshooter who is in Belgrade for a tournament. We’re also introduced to Asad’s family, his mother Dilshad (Shalini Kapoor) and sister Najma (Nehalaxmi Iyer). In an interesting turn of events, Zoya elopes from her marriage to reunite with her father and ends up bumping into Asad. What follows next is a thrilling car chase as Asad and Zoya try to get away from some goons.

As they check in to a hotel the cute banter between them can be witnessed. Meanwhile we can see that a vigilant chief of the Indian National Securities Council, Damini Sood (Mandira Bedi) is keeping a keen eye on them right from the moment Asad and Zoya met.

After a few failed attempts by the goons in catching Zoya, the duo then heads to the airport to go home. While they decide to part ways, looks like destiny had some other plans for them. Just as they bid adieu for the third time in a row, Asad gets to know that Zoya’s life is in danger and rushes to save her.

After an action-packed sequence in the aircraft, the duo finally reaches Pakistan and that’s when Asad comes to know the true identity of Zoya that she is Gen. Bakhtiyar Farooqui’s (Asif Zakaria) daughter who is defense minister of Pakistan. Her family includes loving brother Zoheb Farooqi (Prateik Deshpande) and his wife and aunt Nilofer (Lillete Dubey). In a sudden turn of events, bullets start flying in the air and the house seems to be under attack. And that’s when Asad’s true colours are revealed.

What follows is a series of revelations about Asad’s identity, his intentions, his involvement in the mission and more and what happen with Zoya and Asad and what is his mission is all about the series.

Positives
1. Excellent performance
2. Screenplay
3. Direction
4. Background music
5. Climax
6. Cinematography

Negatives
1. Story lacks novelty
2. Predictable
3. Length

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer panned to watch because loved their chemistry in Zee TV original show “Qubool Hai”.

Asad and Zoya are back to win your hearts one again, but this time in a different universe and with lots of action, thrill, and suspense. The story this time revolves around Asad, who is on a mission, but his life changes after meeting Zoya, a runaway bride being chased by goons. How Asad manages the situation is interesting to watch. Since then, unfortunate incidents keep occurring that make them stay together. But is there more to this than meets the eye or will it turn into a simple love story?

The story of the show is weak, but the screenplay and storytelling are gripping and does not allow you to get bored. A simple story is told in an effective manner and raises your curiosity. The enchanting title song used as the background score is pure brilliance. Except for the beautiful locations in Serbia and everywhere else, the location created by the art team also deserves a round of applause. This cross-border drama is a complete treat to watch. My view on this web series (Highly Recommended)
